Shalom to all Bikers.
Volunteers to the Bicycle Unit of the Civil Guard (Mishmar Ezrahi), the Department of Community Affairs and the Civil Guard of the Israeli Police Force in conjunction with the Israel Cyclists' Association call on you to join the Cycling Unit of the Civil Guard.
This Unit works within the framework of the Civil Guard as a separate unit with relatively many advantages over other units. The Unit's activities cover a wide area.
What tasks does the Unit perform:
By virtue of their presence and prominence the Unit acts as a deterrent to terrorists activities.

It deters criminal activities.

It helps in the search for missing persons in high risk groups such as the elderly and children.

It enforces the laws governing the Quality of the Environment in specific areas such as National parks and other sites preventing the dumping of garbage etc.

It is involved in Community activities educating the youth on subjects such as proper cycling habits, road safety and the wearing of helmets etc.
Other activities are determined by the need and the initiative of the local Police Station to raise the quality of life of the citizens.
Criteria:

A willingness to participate in activities (A minimum of 4 hours a month)

Completion of the application form of your personal details and health.

Participation in a short instruction program and weapons training.
Who but you knows the advantages of a bicycles used in Police activities!
